Mine Health and Safety Legal Update Flash: January 2016
4 New Mandatory Code of Practice Guidelines have been published in terms of Section 9(2) of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
In terms of Section 9(2), an employer has a legal obligation to compile a Code of Practice when instructed to do so.
The specific Guidelines are:
